Hmm... Fred. Something didn't work out here. Maybe colour would be better here as the ruins have the same values as surroundings and are in such a shape, that they look indeed like wild rock outcrop.

Yes, a bit of practice this one. I had to get a new computer and I'm trying to get a hang of the software that came with it...Might have to download Picasa again, though.

Picasa ? What do you do with that ?

I like it because it has a really good cropping tool, and, more relevant to this shot for example, it allows you to add B&W filters in post. So you can convert to B&W with a red, green, orange or yellow filter (as well as others), which I find very good and help a lot in enhancing the look I want.

Can't see, or haven't found the edit option in the new format yet. Picasa is a free software you can get from google. I learnt about it from a book I bought a few years ago: a sort of digital photography school type of publication.

I know Picasa. Watch out, it is spy tool, with possibly embedded trojan horse or hack tool from Google. Check with your firewall, if it is not connecting somewhere behind your back.
