Black Swallowtail battling a bee

Saw this beautiful black swallowtail yesterday at a local community garden. It was getting harassed by a bee over some zinnias.

Watch the Hummer feeder, too. We had a wasp bothering the hummers several times. He loved the hummer food!

These are great! It's fun watching the pollinators fight over the goodies.

Watch the Hummer feeder, too. We had a wasp bothering the hummers several times. He loved the hummer food!

Thanks! So far the bees and wasps have left the hummingbird feeder alone. It’s right next to a crepe Myrtle in full bloom so I think that keeps them busy. We’ll see what happens when that fades.
