Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have an images here of a swan.

I have attempted to remove things like the three trunk on the left over the swans head but the result was noticeable. Also I am relearning PS and my intention for this photo was to change the background colouring but I can not isolate the background and this frustrates me as I can do it with the bird.

There seems to some white specs under the swan in this version that I haven't seen before and I don't no why their there.

Anyway some feedback on this would be great.

You might have to make a copy (within PS), add as a new layer, an use a mask to change the background.

It looks like the swan is almost levitating - I guess the water is rather shallow and it is standing on the bottom.

I'm pretty sure the white specs are water droplets. If this were my photo I don't think I'd mess with it any further. I like it just fine as is.

Thanks Guys,

The swan was very near the shore in fact its next move was to step out of the water. I didn't expect it to close in so fast if I was to take the an alternate shot I would have tried a shallower DOF but as it stands I like it. Looking at the photo afterward most of the white specs are water droplets.

I did make two edits, one was to remove the reflection in the water of the tree trunk on the left. the second was to slide the yellow mid tones of the swan toward blue.

Nice shot! The exposure looks good to me comp is good and there is plenty of feather detail. The white spots look like water drops.

Thanks DS
