Nice idea, I prefer the last one, the treasure being in focus works best for me.

My favorite is the first the treasure & chest are sharp enough to make out easily & the map needs the detail.

Thanks guys! I did #1 with the booty and treasure chest out of focus because it looks too new, like it's fresh out of a store rather than the sea. I wanted to tarnish/soil the box up a bit to make it more realistic but didn't. (lazy me) The map needed to be in focus to show it's a map although a little oof still works. I do like how the gems look in focus, though. A tough pick for sure, arrrr!

I like the concept of the first one but I find the 3rd to be better to look at.

I like the map blurry.
To me, the plunder is real and tangible but what a treasure map represents is more nebulous and far less precise.

#3 is best. The map and treasure and chest all work together. One comment. Remove the specular light in the wave. It distracts.
