The darker ones take away from the detail in the birds wings. Loss of "shadow" detail. The original is the one I prefer.

That One Guy - leave them up for comparison. It was lit by some fill in flash so lightened as very little detail otherwise. I did think of doing a b&W print sometime - that works well in your posting.
