Blown Egg

I'm having a bit of trouble in a high contrast situation. As you can see, the egg is mostly blown out. I'm going to try to reshoot a little closer to sun down but I'm still not sure that will be enough. I don't have any lighting equip or diffusers so I'm limited and wondering how I can get more detail in the egg and still retain detail on the black balls.

use adjusment brush. Assuming you still have details on the egg if you lower the exposure.

I only have DPP for editing, so I'm brushless. I think I've found an interesting material to use as a diffuser if I can get my wife to hold it.
