I've become fascinated with the blue herons.

nice shot!! so lucky to get so close!! I spend over an hour everyday tring to sneak another shot of my local herons, no luck! good for you!!

This is a different heron. I got him before he caught the fish and immediately after he swallowed it.

I should have added a few to the sequence to show that fish squirming as it went down that long narrow throat, but this is as good as I got.
