Blurred tree trunks

Saw the evening sun creating magical shadows among the tree trunks. The light was difficult to get a perfect sharp picture.No tripod and had my nikon FM2 with Ilford HP5 loaded.
Thought of getting a deliberate blurred shot. Took 8 shots and this is the one I liked the most.. Did a few contrast and tonal modifications in Photoshop and here it is..
Let me know your thoughts.. I like it a lot , better than a perfect sharp shot. It renders a dreamy mood

Its interesting and makes me feel dizzy. I think it might be stronger with just a bit cropped off the top, but that's just my opinion. I've been doing a lot of impresssionistic flower photos recently and I've been hopng to find a stand of trees to try something like this. I've only seen trees done like this in color though. I must say the balck and white really makes a statement.

Tanks everyone for their inputs.. Well I don't know if this is an abstract photography as i am so very new to photography.However, the tension, bluriness does create an impact on my visual. If i blow up the image on my monitor and set it as my desktop wallpaper and start staring at it, it really causes a haunting effect . Gives me a headache and that's what I like about the picture.
A picture if causes me to move is a favourite one in my eyes..
Views always differ and thats what I love about photography..

Pretty cool. This sort of shot seems to have become token for some photographers, I've noticed. I like most of em....I have a bunch myself. Good abstract

If you google "Impressionistic photography" you will find many photos like this. "Abstract" & "Impressionistic" do overlap, but they are slightly different. Think of paintings by Monet for instance.
