its an hdr conversion using 3 shot at -1, 0, +1 exposures - combined and tone mapped in photomatix pro

i shot them handheld cos im lucky that my canon 40d can shoot 6.5 frames per sec

pretty easy really and a simple way of bringing out all the detail and highlights/shadows
