After the war in Vietnam, a lot of Vietnamese left Vietnam by boats as living conditions became unbearable under the communist regime. South Vietnamese in particular were unfairly treated after the war. This past weekend, I was able to go a site where they were displaying one of the many boats that left Vietnam from 1975 untill around 1989. This particular boat was put onto a flatbed truck and the goal of the organization was to take it around the 50 states of the United States. Many of the boats did not make it due to lack of food, broken engines, storms, pirates in the Gulf of Thailand.....

Thanks for looking, critiques or comments would be great!!

Makes me appreciate the freedoms we have here in America, which many take for granted. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment, I appreciated. It's quite amazing that such a little boat would be taking 40 plus people into the Pacific.
