Botanical Garden

I just got a new flash and decided to try it at the botanical garden. These are the result.

Nice set!

Nice and crisp. Did you use a flash or some kind of fill?

Nice ones.

Yes, I finally got a SB-900 flash and this was my first test run.

The plane of focus didn't seem to be optimal on one and five (or you needed more DOF) but you nail the composition on both and great colors on one. For the rest you just plain nailed it, top notch. Thanks for sharing your test run.

Nice but the b&w is the winner here. Check out how Georgia O'Keeffe "posed" cactus.

I checked out Georgia O'Keeffe. Very inspiring artwork, I'll have to keep it in mind next time I go to the garden.
