Interesting shot. I'm finding the bright tree trunk behind the archer blends with the lighter camo on his leg. So he kind of disappears in the shot. If that is the intent, great. If not, the lighting should emphasize the archer more and the background should be subdued. Nice photo.

That is what I was thinking as well. The trees are basically the brightest thing in the frame, which draws the viewer's eye to them, rather than to the subject.
I was thinking that it may have been better if you weren't right by the trees, but then I thought that they do add something. Maybe in your editing, apply the increased brightness to yourself, but not the trees. And on that topic, increasing the brightness of an under exposed photo is almost always going to hurt the quality of the image. Since you are in control of your lighting, you should be able to exposure the shot well enough. It can even be beneficial to slightly over expose and reduce the brightness in post.

Finally got to shoot first time this year.

I like the first one.

The tree behind his head blends wit his head so well that it's hard to tell apart at first glance. I am thinking if the tree was underexposed in PS may help separate the head a little bit.
