It sure is a nice subject but it looks too posed to me. I'd prefer to see it as a documentary shot ( more background/other people to explain the situation). Blown out highlights are quite distracting too. If there was a big difference between inside and outside you should have used flash to balance the light or asked him to move somewhere else.
My last complaint is that you've cut off his right hand and legs.
