Some of the other elements distract from the subject (building, trees, plane), not so much that they're there, but the way they interact with the batsman (It kinda looks like he's leaning against one tree, and now that the plane has launched from the bat, he can safely swat the building).

If that's the only direction you can shoot from, try from a lower angle looking up to reduce the prominence of the background, or opening the aperture to attenuate the distractions.
