Is the effect supposed to be grain? It doesn't look like grain, because it vanishes in the out of focus areas. Mostly whatever you've done to it makes it look like she has appalling skin, or is made out of sand.

The photograph itself is quite nice. The hand in the foreground is a little odd, but I am willing to believe that it's hers. The face and the pillow and the fabric (shirt sleeve?) is lovely, or would be if you backed off that bizarre speckling effect. The tones are quite rich and pleasing, for all they're very dark. There's a nice mood here in the darkness, her hidden face, and her expression.

I don't care for it that much. To me, I think softening the skin on the forehead would greatly improve it.

looks like you maxed out structure and fine structure in silverefex, which is never a good look for women's skin.
