Bridge CS4 issues... Add stars, Thumbnails disappear

As the title suggests... I'm having an issue with Bridge.

I add stars to my "good" photos. After I quit Bridge and come back, the images that have stars no longer show up. I see the files there, with stars, however the thumbnail no longer shows. If I go into the carousel view of those files, all I see is the CR2 icon.

I tried deleting the XMP files, and the stars go away, but the thumbnails don't come back, even after quitting Bridge and re-opening.

I've tried searching google, but using such broad terms (bridge, stars, thumbnails) I get nothing.

Hopefully someone else has seen this and can tell me how to fix it.

Did you scroll to the bottom? It may be that you have the sort set for ranking, and they now appear at the bottom of the screen.

Guess I didnt explain it enough... the files still show up, but they are just the CR2 icon, no longer a thumbnail. If I press spacebar to see the photo full screen, it only shows the icon.

This also happens to JPG files as well

Oh.... that doesn't sound good.

I'm still working in CS3, but I can offer a suggestion. Select all images, the go "Label" and chose "No Rating." This might restore your views.

Still no luck. Tried No Rating, No Label, and deleting the XMP files again.

I'm probably going to re-install Bridge tonight if I cant get this fixed.
