at the other extreme this could be sharper i was holding down the tripod firmly and increased the ISO to 200. I would have preferred to be at 50 to leave several seconds to make the most of the smoke but the wind was playing havoc

I used to date a girl in Magor, South Wales, and had to cross the channel quite often, I can't remember it not being windy around here, Nice set.

Not taken very many photos for a few days. Was going out this afternoon, but the main views were too hazy out to sea. While watching TV, noticed the colour of the sun against the wall and looked over my shoulder. Grabbed the D800 and the AFS 300 f/4 with the TC 17 II and grabbed a few frames
