my student broke the clutch on my truck and i sat for a week in a hotel, had a chance to play. Found a building that was used in the making of Silence of the lambs.
They are tearing it down and they let me walk around inside, i had fun

First two - nice BIFs - crisp, clear and a good catchlight in the eye of the bird. The third well...what do I say - it's a test. Number 4 on the other hand is good - I like it. Personally I would clone out the little bit of road in the lower right hand side of the image. From a compositional perspective, it is a horizontal line that takes the viewer's eye out of the picture. The road leading through the trees and off into the near distant, does provide a bit of a save. My 0.02¢ FWIW.

Based on your pics and story, sounds like you were in the makings of a horror film, especially looking that the road and trees. Car breaks down on creepy road, birds circling overhead, and you have to check into a hotel... LOL. Great pics though.
