Wow! These are great! #2 and 3. Love the back lighting on the heron and I’m very partial to horses.

Leaving Helicopter, Hyena, and Hippopotamus for next season (spring).

Very nice shots. Do you have enough detail to crop the Harrier nice and close? Just a thought

Nice set.......

Thank you

Thanks very much!

Thank you. That's a wild horse.

Thank you rslt. The harrier shot doesn't quite have the detail I like for a close crop

Yep, I vote for the horse. I give you the letter " C " for congrats ;)

Thanks very much

Still a good action shot

Nice set and #1 for me, the background won me over. It's late so I bid everyone the letters GN! Sweet PS dreams and don't let the bed gators bite!

Nice set. Nice capture on the Harrier. I like it shot as is. It gives a good feeling for the bird in it's environment.

Thanks guys. I like #1 because of the background, a good example of the pleasant bokeh this lens can produce with the right distances. Contrasted with the Heron shot, same lens, different distances, resulting in much less pleasant bokeh IMO

Bokeh _does depend_ on the specific subject matter and shooting situation. What is the lens you were referring to?

I love this set...but the horse is just awesome........wow

Tamron 150-600 G2. The lens blurs backgrounds easily - mostly due to the long focal length(s) used. The quality of the blur can vary from ugly to awesome depending on subject matter and distance. The long distance from subject to background in shot#1 provided good bokeh, but I also love the results from backgrounds much closer to the subject
Rufous hummingbird with painterly bokeh

I love this set...but the horse is just awesome........wow
Thank you!
