Awh - very cute. But you clipped off the head! Big nono. However - his eyes are looking right into the viewers, which is awesome. Apart from the clipping, I like it!

I think the head clipping is fine, especially because that draws more attention to the pug's eyes.

For the most part the DOF is pretty good getting most of the face in focus, and the background is not distracting at all.

I think the B&W definitely improves this photo too. Good job.

i agree, cutting off the head is fine, in fact it made my eyes look directly at his, which is what you were going for im sure. good job very cute pug, they have such funny attitudes

Keep the crop dude! You can even go tighter depending on the look.
