Bryderwyns...couple more 'on the road' pics

Part of my first experience taking pics while a passenger in the car. Going south there's a ridge called the Brynderwyns. Couple of pics from the top.

First earlier in the day heading south.....

Late in the day heading home.....it's an amazing feeling coming over the top seeing the view. You know you're nearly there

Maybe if you cropped the car out of the second one so the shot wasnt too dark in the bottom, it would give more of a focus to Mt Manaia and the clouds surrounding it.

I need to come home.


Where on earth were you standing to take these anyway. Im suprised a truck didnt run you down.

I think she said she was actually in a car while taking these shots.

Actually, one of the best photos I have ever taken (IMHO) was from the back seat of a car that was driving at 100 kph.

I cant ever get a good shot from the window. Someones always driving too fast to be able to focus

I was really surprised how difficult it was........no time to focus or compose pics! ..........or, you hit a bump as you press the shutter!!

Originally did try lightening, adjusting the light in the 2nd pic of Mt Manaia but don't have the ps skills to do a halfway decent job of it. Will crop and repost later in the day.

not your monitor Anua pic is very dark at the bottom! It was getting late by the time we headed home so there was too much contrast between the darkness of the gorge and the road and the blue of the sky. Will have to try that one again
