Buck in Hell's Canyon

This little buck let me get pretty close before moving off. He was with

a small herd of deer munching on grass in a park that was empty. Not many people go down to Hell's Canyon in the winter, but that's when you see all the animals.

Judging by the size of the ears, that would be a mule deer. Nice shot.

Thanks to both of you. Yes, he's a mule deer. I was only about 25-30 feet from him.
