Nice job on the shadow detail. The body is very dark but I can see the detail there.


The hooked antennae would indicate that it's a skipper. Butterflies have clubbed antennae.

Thanks, B. It's in the butterfly family but you're right, it's called a skipper, not a butterfly. Thanks for the info.
 
Yep. Butterflies, skippers, moths and a few others are in the order Lepidoptera. But butterflies and skippers have their own superfamily, the Papilionoidea.
