That is a rodents worst nightmare! Nicely done.
 
Very nice image, full of drama and technical excellence ... but, unless the raptor is screaming "BUZZARD" ... I don't get it ...

Buzzard are birds of prey that includes hawks. North Americans erroneously call our vultures buzzards.

Wow ... out here only vultures are called 'Buzzards' and all Vultures are called Buzzards. Interesting ... so Buzzards are raptors in other countries. Thanks for the heads-up.

Yes this Raptor is a European Buzzard was only really seen in the South West but since farmers have stopped using DDT on there fields the Buzzard population has spread over the whole of Britain. If there's a wooded area there's bound to be a Buzzard. Often seen being hassled by crows

If there's a wooded area there's bound to be a Buzzard. Often seen being hassled by crows
Birds full of DDT have very thin egg shells. DDT decimated the Brown Pelican and Bald Eagle population in California. Good news on the comeback.

Damn Right good news indeed. Its great seeing there numbers increase
