BW Self Portrait -- Need critique!!

Hello All!

I have a BW Self portrait that I shot with my Nikon D5100. Would love to get a few critiques/ feedback on this composition.
It'd help me out a lot!

The only criticism that I can forsee is that the light on your left temple is a bit hot. Personally, I don't care too much about that. I think it works quite well (referring to the overall image, not the hot spot! )

@limr: I was kind of thinking the same the about the lighting, so I'm glad you said that. I have to figure out, when it comes to lighting shots like these if I have the light to close, if it too much light overall, or am I using the right aperture/shutter speed combo. And thanks for the critique.

@amolitor: I think that majority of the pics I have or will take, I focus more on the emotion/feel of the composition. That's one of the reason I love B/W photos/paintings/drawings. It's like, if u can express a lot with only two tones, ur doing something worth the time it took to do it! lol

I like the moodiness of the lighting, but I think the elements in the backround are a bit distracting. Maybe one more attempt?
