My daughters 1 year pics -- advice appreciated. I continually have problems with overexposure and parts of the pictures being blown out :-/

We can't CC 8 images. It's just way to many to go through. We'd be here for 40 minutes or more.

Are you using the clarity slider in ACR or LR? It looks like you are and it's muddying up her skin tones.
You have missed focus in some of these.
You don't have blow outs and your skin tones are very orange which hints to me that you are not working on a calibrated monitor?
Your best bet for taking images without some flash knowledge is to look for "open shade" or an overcast day. Open shade is like the shaded side of a building, etc. Trees can give you full shade like that but be very careful that you aren't getting spotted light peeking through them.

Okay - cut down the number of images -- don't know why the ones I removed are still showing up at the end tho-- just look at the first 4. I appreciate your advice so far!!
