C&C and a choice

I took these two pictures of the engine bay of a car on my property, and I can't decide which I like more. So I'd like a C&C of both of them, and also your choice for which is better. Here are the pictures:

I actually like these. Like mother nature trying to retake its spot where the car is. I'm not sure which I like better. The first one is sort of a 'window' effect.

What kind of car?

I quite clearly prefer the second over the first, as the car parts in the first are ALL out of focus. A pity that in the second photo that thing at the bottom, which is in focus, is cropped off at the same time. Camera an inch lower and you'd have been there...

The first was as much in focus as possible, I had the aperture as small as possible with the light I had. The second I wanted the vine more in the upper left corner, so I'm planning on taking some more today when I get some sun.
