Hi everyone! The ones with snow were taken about two hours ago! The rest were taken within the last 2 weeks.

Number one could use a little more DOF, or just move the center of focus more towards the center of the rose. Number 5 caught my interest for some reason, nicely done. The sky is blown completely out but I like it, especially with the snow/fog in the distance. The rest look like snapshots to me.

Thanks yeah i was annoyed with the DOF when i got the rose uploaded. My favorite is the B&W and the long street. It doesn't snow here often hehe

Ok so for me

#1 the lighting is harsh I am guessing you used on camera flash for that shot? I also dont like the DOF or angle on this shot. I know the subject is the rose but there is to much else going on in the frame for me.

#2 is better I like this shots composition but the face is a little under exposed. I know its hard to deal with the white background but the face is under exposed. Also the focus should be on the eyes it looks more like the tip of the nose or something.

#3 I love the colors here but wish the shot was composed better. The jellyfish runs off screen and the main part is pretty centered. Check out the rule of thirds if you havent already.

As for the rest they do nothing for me. I know for you they mean something cause of that white stuff flyin around in the sky. For others of us that are looking at them that are used to the snow there is no value to us. We are looking at a street with some snow flying around. Try to find a way that you can capture the snow and the fact that it is Georiga and it will impact us too maybe.

Just thought I would let you know, but you are usually more likely to get C&C if you post 2-3 pictures.

Yeah, when I click on a thread and start to scroll down looking at the pictures...if it there are more than 5 pictures I back out of the thread and move on.
