Well, umm, more like water bumps lol. This was done this morning around 1030am, sun coming in from the upper left side. I used a variable ND filter, tripod, shutter priority with a long exposure time (5", sometimes as much as 13"). However, even though I thought I had all my ducks in a row for this one, I forgot to shut off the VR! Everything came out a little blurred , so there was a lot of post correction.

My thoughts:

1) maybe a little over processed, that is kind of the look I was going for though. I'm still figuring some things out is PS so I do what I can :P
2) Not enough in the viewing window. The left and right rocks were cut off. Really wish I had a wide angle lense for this one. I was standing on a small rock, in a "raging" river that I had to get wet to get to (Look ma, no shoes!), if I had backed up any more then I would have been underwater.
3) Trees in the background came out a bit noisy when sharpening in post. Something I could go back and fix, but I dont really think its too too bad.
4) Is my sky color just wrong, or is it me? (colorblind)

What did I miss?

Overall it's an attractive image. Your own comments covered everything I would have suggested.

The big patch of sky does look odd, it's got a slightly darker tone than the sky around the trees.

I noticed the while around the tree's when i was processing, and no matter what I did, unless I just completely burned it out, I just could not make it go away unless I dulled the sky down.

Image appears slightly tilted to the right. It looks like the water should be draining off towards the right side of the frame, but it's actually moving to the left. Fix that and what has already been mentioned and it'lll be a pretty good photo.

wow, never even thought of that, but that makes complete sense. So your saying that for composition reasons, just tilt it a little.

I finally bought one of those pencils for the computer so now I'm going through each spot in the sky to get rid of the tree "glow". Tedious but it's working so far.
