Is this a HDR multiple exposure image? Doesn't seem so to me but I have little experience with HDR and wouldnt be able to replicate this if I tried.

The car is awesome, the little touches, coke crate and surfboard, its pretty freaking cool. " Sunset Beach Bar" take me there please!

I'd love to know the basics of getting this look.

I think the angle is great, positioning the headlight near center and even cutting off the bumper sonit extends out of the scene makes the photo a bit different. I would have instintively tried to shoot the whole car in scence with room in front, newb style. Your take is much more fun.

Yes, in this photo I used HDR with a lot of processing to achieve this cartoon type effect.

I'm more bothered by the clipping off of the bumper's end than I am by the over the top tone-mapping...you've done the tone mapping so heavily that it looks intentional, purposeful, like a genuine "look".

I agree, it is a shame I clipped off that bumper's piece. But it was a very quick shot, I was laying down in the asphalt near the traffic, kind of scary. Thank you for the comments!
