Can others edit my Photos

Hi guys, this is my first post here. I typically go on timescapes.org but i figured another community would be good. I'm looking for creative criticism and mostly advice on whatever you think i need to improve on. I literally just started shooting with a dslr, i've had it for less than a month, and i just started using lightroom having had never touched or used anything like it or PS (although i have used adobe after effects for timelapse work i do).

i'm mostly looking for composition advice, and trying to understand using the thirds rule, lighting etc.

again im completely new, but dont refrain from being honest.

but thanks in advance for the help, my flickr is linked below.

Hi!! Welcome to the party!! Just a heads up......you will get way more feed back on your work if you post a couple directly to the thread. A lot of won't click on the link.
Keep posting!!

You'd be surprised..

i'm already surprised at where the discussion of this thread is going when it really isnt a concern or the intent of the thread what so ever. people have a lot of free time, or are easily distracted... hmm :)

Or are at home with their baby editing pictures for their clients...

It's actually an excellent forum, there are a lot of great photog's on here willing to give valuable C&C. All you have to do is follow the forum etiquette.

OK! Honesty I can do.

Then you likely need to improve on everything, like using the shift key on your keyboard which enhances your credibility and makes you seem more sincere.

I also recommend keeping the lame excuses at bay.

oh... so youre not allowed to post links here, okay.

so is it within etiquette to completely create a useless convorsation in a thread that has nothing to do with what youre discussing?

i have a feeling this place is filled with housewives who have a lot of time on their hands and are evidently.... bored.
