Sweet! I just returned from a weekend visit myself. I was visiting friends so I didn't make it downtown. I did make it to the bridge in Covington though. I'm only two hours away... you should consider holding a TPF shoot and show us all the town!

I saw your Roebling Suspension Bridge photo on your blog, it looks like we were standing from the same place! Nice, I will have stop by there at night again.

It would be cool to get some people together for a Cincinnati tour. I've hit a few places, but being newer to photography I'm sure others would know of some great places. I like to go to Eden Park, Spring Grove Cemetery, Foutain Square. I'm looking for some other nice city views, I've been up to Devou Park, it has a great city view, but have never been up there to take pictures.

i got out there for a few hours last year (used to live in the area) and i had wanted to make it to spring grove cemetary but i ran out of time. was good to get back there and get some pics. like the bridge shot. when i was there the sky was pretty much washed out. got tehre way to late as well.

kinda like the third shot. just kinda the whole contrast of the quaint little house and then the city directly in the background.

I live in Cincy and would be up for some kind of get together. What lens did you use for the first photo?

I don't know what it is but I really like the second one

I think #2 is in front of the Newport Aquarium with the restaurant in the back ground. It's one of the few spots I know in the Cincy area.

The description for #2 says it's at Fountain Square.

Whoops, I guess earlier I felt that reading takes all the mystery out of life, but I'm more awake now.

It was taken with the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 @ 12mm. I've seen a few other Cincinnati-area people on here, it'd be cool to do a group photography day.

Thanks H4XM1A. Yes, it is one of the statues on the Genius Of Water at Fountain Square. (with Via Vite and Palomino in the background)

My avatar pic is right on the other side of that bridge!!

Cincy can be a cool town to shoot in. I just don't get down there enough.

what contest did you enter these into?

id have to say I really like 1 and 3. You did something that makes the clouds stand out in 1 almost in an HDRish way? In three I really like the concept of it all.
