Photos NOT OK to edit
I went for a trek today to shoot some local waterfalls in Hamilton, Ontario. These are my favorite shots of the day. I am very interest in comments, critiques, and any other input.

The first 4 are pretty much the same. They're a bit of a pretty waterfall but nothing else. The 6th is slightly more interesting but you need more in your shot than just a segment of the waterfall imho.

Yeah I see what you mean. It just lacks diversity.

What shutter speed did you use, 1/3?, because i do like the effect of the water, i just want to see more!

I think 3 is best of the bunch. I would take a step back so you can see more of the waterfall (in #'s 1-4) The last one does nothing for me.

Here is the basic exif data. I hope you find it useful.

Exposure 0.167 sec (1/6)
Aperture f/22.0
Focal Length 18 mm
ISO Speed 280

Thanks for the input, I'll give that a try next time I shoot waterfalls.

Yeh what Campbell said. A few steps back so we can see more. I like the effect of the water, it portraits the vibrance of it really well so i think the shutter speed is spot on. I just want to see MORE! Can you go back and take a wider angle because i'm frustrated that i can't see what i'm sure is a beautiful waterfall.

Take a look at this on flickr, Albion Falls, Hamilton | Flickr - Photo Sharing! I think this is what you were looking for. If that does not do it for you, search "Albion Falls" on flickr and on the first page there is loads of photographs of it.

Oh man, I am a huge nerd. When I read "Albion Falls" I immediately thought of the Fable video game series.
