There really isn't much to say. Not trying to be rude, but they just aren't very interesting and there's nothing on the top photo in focus...sorry but it didn't work.

I think the top photo is showing some effects from wither too little light, and too high of an ISO level, or too much of a crop; the first photo does not have the technical quality that the second shot has. Keep at it...keep working to improve! You will get there! You are already getting close enough, and are picking good subjects...you're just a short ways away from "good".

It seems your focus is on the water droplets on the red pedals instead of the stamen. Close...
You could try stopping down to increase your DOF slightly
