Cooper's Hawk at the lake.

Spotted this one perched on a walkway on a lake today. It let me get within about 20 feet before saying "enough of you and your camera" and flying off. Took a few shots with the Tamron A15 55-200mm APC-C lens before walking back to the car to grab the Tamron A005 70-300mm.

It's kinda weird. The railing the hawk was sitting on is angled a bit, however I oriented my camera to get shots of the hawk fully upright. I'd have to go back there and see what it looks like again.

Can't see the horizon, it looks like a shore to me. It'd only look level if you were facing perpendicular to it.
