Giving C&C's to this boring photo may be a lot more interesting than answering what the mm on the lens means

Your title deserved a look.

Beautiful shot. You have several good lines within the image and makes it a pleasure to wander about. I'd consider cleaning up the boats on the left edge. The sence of scale is well developed by the small village.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment, Kundalini. Will do that.

and 480sparky, I used a UWA lens shot at 22mm. That's 22 "mother muckers" bothering me while I took the shot...:lmao:

Well, the MM thread has been locked, so I guess I don't have a choice but to respod to this one.

I like the subject. I like the composition. The processing is a bit off for me. The greens are heavily saturated, while the sky and sea seem a bit dull. I would like to see a bit more contrast in the sea and sky and a boost in the blues and cyans(and maybe a slight drop in the yellows) to help balance out the photo.

I tend to agree with above. I like the image but the colours seem odd.

I also agree! Very nice composition, but the sea and sky need a bit more saturation and contrast, to match the plantlife up front.

I like the scene and how the different 'planes' don't blend into each other, particularly in the distance. However, the strong appearance of a filter having been used is really detracting. I don't know if this was a filter or post, but it's a stop or two too much... the foliage actually looks brighter than the sky.

Should have hit this location with some pano action. what a great spot.

Looks to be a bit more sun shining through on the forground mountains. Maybe some de-saturation on the forground or more saturation on the rest of the photo would help. Beautifull though.
