Here are a few photos I shot recently. Just had them processed. I'm fairly new to photography (Under 10 rolls), and could use some guidance. I'm using a Pentax Spotmatic 35mm SLR. These shots were taken with my Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8 lens and Fuji Superia 200.

The first and the third one is not bad, IMO (I'm still noob :S), but the second one is not that good : the roof is cut. And the third one has nothing interesting.
 
Thanks for the thoughts. Yeah, I wish I would have not cut of the roof on the second one. Live and learn.

I really like the colour of these pictures; really nice brown mixed with black.
It seems you are trying to take wide shots with a 55mm. I think if you shot the same objects/angles of the building with a wide angle lens then it would look good. I want to see more of the building. The 55mm may be better for detail in the architecture.
 
I was actually out shooting today and I shot some similar shots with my wide angle lens, I hate using it because the focus is extremely stiff.
