Nice Charlie...did you get your D4

Very nice, #1 is perfect!

#2 looks a little under exposed though, and not to much of a clear subject for me to find. Otherwise, good job! :)

The flower facing towards the edge of the frame is awkward. It will tend to hold the viewer on that side, making the other half of the image superfluous. Adding to that, the bud above strengthens the unbalance to the left side. Even further,my our two subjects are nearly exactly half of the image.

Had that bud been on the right side, would help, but not fix the poor composition here.

I had considered lightening #2 a bit.. but decided not to. And yes.. there is no one subject.. all the flowers are subjects...

Better.. I agree. But the flowers always face away from the cactus, so that made this one difficult. I see you point though! ;) Thanks!

hahaha... not saying it can't be done... just didn't do it when I shot! I goofed! The only shots I got full frame of a single bloom is the one I posted!

This reminds me of my childhood! We used to pull the green thing in the middle, then cut off a cactus point and stick it in the piece from the flower to make a "dart." I don't know how I remember that, thanks for the memory!

Snapshots.

Little more than snapshots...

This is just harassment, big man! Mr. Maturity.
Yeah.
Reported.

But do keep it up if you get, as YOU put it, some sexual gratiification from it.

.

Now, some folks here see that as blood in the water. They can't control themselves. It's not outside the realm of possibility that they actually feel a degree of sexual gratification by tearing someone else apart.

That's not my opinion, by the way, it actually happens.

I like #2...there is a good amount of stuff to look at in there....there is quite a story being told, when you look closely. Various textures, earth and plant. Plants in various stages of blooming...natural beauty all nestled in a bed of threatening thorns...good stuff. I think I want the background to be in focus, but I'm not sure. I like flatness in some images, this may be one. Great shot!
