Here is a collection of photo's taken over the last year in Cades Cove. It is my little slice of heaven.

Hey, no, that's MY little slice of heaven!!
It is a beautiful, beautiful place. I'd be there every other day if it wasn't for two things:
1. Work.
2. The thousands and thousands of other people who seem to think they have the right to be there too. :D

I especially like the deer jumping over the fence, and the bear.
It's funny (well, no, really it's sad), I've never managed to get a photo of a bear in Cades Cove. Pretty much every other photographer I know, and MOST of my friends who own nothing but cell phone cameras, have gotten bear pics in the cove--but not me. I'm cursed.
Closest I came was last spring, on Hyatt Lane, but I'd just gotten stopped at a great place and was grabbing my camera from the passenger seat when some IDIOTS came driving by and purposely honked and yelled to scare the bear away.
