There was a customer at the counter just before this shot, but he left...
It still has that college town weird vibe, but it's getting bigger. The University is doing very well, under a very energetic and capable president. And the old courthouse square is still very cool.Denton certainly has changed since my time there('66-'68). Like the photo, good feel of depth and great wood tones.
Me too, sort of. UNT has a chapter of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. I take classes there regularly. It's inexpensive, no grades, no tests, just lectures by highly qualified instructors. You have to be over 50. They also do trips and other events:One of my sons is a perpetual student at UNT.
