My sister used purple calla Lillie's for her wedding! I prefer the first one with a tighter crop. Beautiful lines and lighting on both of them.

Thanks!! I was really pleased with how they turned out ... Isn't it great when you feel like your work goes well?

I keep tinkering in LR though, LOL. I've ordered some avenger C-stands/boom arms and I'm going to try to position lights different and try for a graduated shadow in the BG tomorrow night.

OK, this is the last edit ... bumped the highlights a smudge and darkened the yellow channel at tad. This is the last edit I swear

I like the crop in the first one and the lighting in the second.

I prefer the softer look of the second one! I'm no pro but that's a beautiful shot! .

I like both, although the second needs to be lighter.

Robert Mapplethorpe did a lot of these, as well as a lot of other flowers (when he wasn't doing other things, but never mind ...), all of it worth checking out.
