Calm and peaceful but the black point is too high making high, inky shadows

I agree. The dark areas make the picture more edgy. Lightening it up will make it more peaceful as well as more natural.

Agree about the shadows. I also think it would have a more peaceful feel to it if not cropped so tightly - a little room under the bench and a little more of that nice sky.
