Not being "able to get it" is not really something to be proud of...but then again, anti-intellectualism has always been en vogue among a certain subset of the population.

Yeah like those pesky engineers and comp sci kids. Or audio recording engineers who can appreciate some of the strange and experimental works from Schoenberg, Cage, or Glass, but would still rather not listen to them. :thumbup:

Anyway, as far as "getting it" it would have been nice if you had posted this article, which you can get from digging through your original, since it explains his actual motivations and reasonings behind it. In your link, it pretty much says he was commissioned to do it in the name of art! Sweet! That's informative! When you read about how its his response to having a completely undocumented upbringing during a "nomadic existance in the middle east" before fleeing his Shiite family to come to America, then it starts to actually make sense why he wanted to do it. Though, I think a front-facing camera would not only be more interesting, but would better capture his "documented existance" concept by showing the viewer the life and existance from his own perspective. But hey, what do I know, my degree is just in computer media.
