I shoot live music for a local paper. They need shots very quickly after the gig (someimes hours) so I set up a process.

Personally I go through adjustments in a similar order to the actual layout in ACR. Colour temperature first etc... I leave any sharpening to Photoshop which i have to do manually, and I then apply one of a few levels of Noise Reduction that I have stored in actions and call from the script.
