what is a 2 1/2 x 2 3/4 camera. what is the benefit of it over 35mm. i have a nikon n65 will my lenses fit a nikon d70? thanks all

2.25" x 2.75", also refered to as 6cm x 7cm, is one available size of a neg/pos on 120 or 220 film. Other common sizes are 6x4.5cm, 6x6cm, and 6x9cm. The advantage over 35mm is in the size of the negative or slide. A 35mm neg is approx 1" x1.5" or 2.5cm x 3.75cm.
