hey, i am relatively new to photography. well, not that new, but i still feel like a beginner, really. I usually just take most of my photos based on "take photos till one of them looks good", so I don't usually think about any technical stuff when i hit the button. which is why i was wondering if any of you guys knew anything about stock photography and would be willing to point out any flaws in some photos of mine for that purpose?

Can I suggest two things. You cannot read or own to many photographic books, not only on how to take photo's,but also book's of famous photographer's to see how they work. The second thing is join a photographic club, they have competitions this will show you if you are any good or not there will also be someone in the club who can help you with advice.
