Can someone help identify photographer?

Greetings -
I hope it's OK to post this query here. I have a print and I'm just curious to identify the photographer and thought maybe the photo or signature would ring a bell for someone. It is an orininal hand-cut print, with "66-8-16 #3" on the back (presumably a non-American photographer). It appears to be Yosemite/Western park. Thanks!

I have no clue... Adams did a lot of work in that area, but it doesn't look like his word or his signature :\

I don't know... looks to me like something Ansel Adams might have done, but like shutterbug said it doesn't look his signature... well, at least it doesn't look like anything somebody named "Ansel" would write as their signature. It looks like the sig says "Geig" or "Gleig" or something similar, but not "ansel" or "adams"
