What kind of camera are you shooting? Cannot remember if I had to set the camera's profile first in Bridge. Baffling.

You can convert your Raw files to DNG. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5258

Your 60D is supported at and above ACR 6.2 - Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras

That would be Elements 10, or CS 5, or Lightroom 3.2.

Did your photoshop not come with "Bridge?" Bridge is Photoshop's Raw editor.

Camera Raw (ACR - Adobe Camera Raw) is Photoshop's Raw converter. Bridge is a browser.

Camera Raw can be hosted by both Bridge and Photoshop. So you can have 2 Camera Raw pages open at the same time.
