I took this photo recently at one of my kids' "Fall Ball" baseball games. It was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II using a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS. The settings were ISO 160, 370 mm, f5.6, and 1/30. I'm struggling with focus, or a lack thereof. My vision is poor even with corrective lenses, so I really struggle with manual focus. When using auto focus my shots are still out of focus much of the time. I shoot on manual mode about 80% of the time, but also revert to the more automated modes to see what kind of readings/suggestions I get in terms of settings, as well as try to get some "insurance" shots. Despite the lack of focus I like this candid shot of one my sons' teammates. It was a quick shot for which I had no time to set up. I used Pixelmator to resize the RAW image, and I boosted the green hue just a little bit on the tarp.
