i was on the boardwalk in cape may when i caught this scene. i know the shadows are really harsh, but there's something about it that i love.

the man on stilts was SOOOOOOOOO tall. This kid was amazed and the man came over to him and allowed him to touch the stilts...plus, id never seen someone in this type of position with stilts on.

thoughts? comments? criticisms?

Did you use flash on this? It looks like the background is darker than the foreground is the only reason I ask.

The shadows are somewhat harsh, but I don't care. I still like it. I think its the smile on the man's face, its so genuine and sincere.

i did use a flash, that's the cause of the harsh shadows.
i must say that the stilt man was sincere and extremely happy.
